The formula for ALL PROJECT ROCKIT programs is a combination of role-plays, story telling, team activities, social experiments, creative writing and group discussion, students explore their attitudes, strengths, beliefs and behaviours.
STRUCTURE:
Aside from our day forums, each session typically operates within a one-hour time frame, but can be adapted to a 50-minute period length. We usually run multiple sessions with each group over several weeks. The program is best run in a drama or multipurpose room, giving students lots of space to move around and step outside of the social roles that they may play within the class. We usually work with a group size of up to 50 students at a time (two classes joined together). We LOVE a challenge and are able to tailor sessions to your specific needs as well.

In response to massive demand, PROJECT ROCKIT has developed the BRAND NEW DOT COM forum as a full-day program (equivalent of 5 one-hour sessions), accommodating a whole year-level at the one time.
Utilizing P-ROCK's own genuine, non-daggy understanding of cyberspace, the DOT COM forums bring students together for an empowering approach to cyberbullying and personal leadership. What's more, students develop their awareness and empathy for targets of cyberbullying through participation in discussion, drama, music, creative writing and real-life stories. In empowering students to take ownership over core material and create a supportive online culture, the DOT COM forum will be an event to remember.

Leadership program (Years 7 - 12):
The P-ROCK leadership material has a real focus on the potential that we all have to be leaders, regardless of whether we have been recognised with an official leadership position. This idea of 'personal leadership,' works well for both formal leadership groups (such as SRC) and the broader student body. Sessions use a range of creative exercises to provide the opportunity for students to examine their values, vision and personal strengths, as well as testing what it means to stand up for what you believe in.
The style of this program depends on the age-group, with a more active, activity-based program for younger levels and a more discussion-based, personal program for older students. It has also worked really well as a cross-year level program.
Cost: $300 (+GST) per single period (50 - 60 mins). Includes:
2 facilitators & accommodates approx. 50 students per session.

For the past few years, PROJECT ROCKIT have been working with The University of Melbourne’s student leadership initiatives, including the Kwong Lee Dow (KLD) Scholars program as well as the Student Ambassador Leadership Program (SALP).
P-ROCK recently designed and hostic an epic program for the first Meeting Event for 300 year 11 students at The University of Melbourne. All 300 students were up and racing around the campus participating in bizarre and hilarious challenges, team-building exercises and competitions. The result: a group of 300 that were, empowered, socially connected and ready to take on the year together as a team.
Here's what one participants had to say: “I had so much fun yesterday at the KLD Welcome Event, you guys were awesome. Thanks for making it a great day!” - Daniela
