"PROJECT ROCKIT are insightful and wise beyond their years. With wonderful humour and brave honesty, within minutes they managed to engage and connect with every student. Girls and boys alike were quickly set to think about how they view themselves and how their actions affect others. The PROJECT ROCKIT presentations also give staff and parents some great starting points to continue some very important conversations. Just a wonderful resource for our Pastoral Care Program!"

Tanya Davies - Year 7 Cluster Leader - Wesley College, St Kilda Road Campus.

"I thought PROJECT ROCKIT was really awesome.  I learned heaps about how much bullying can affect a person.  It was fun and appealed to me ‘cause they described things like I would have."

Year 7 student - Ashwood College

"PROJECT ROCKIT was so accessible to the boys because they used cleverly produced examples, simple techniques to define bullying and a safe space in which to do it."

Malcolm Pacey - Classroom Teacher - Scotch College.

"You have impacted on each and everyone's life in my class, including me. My peers are responding really well to your 'Project Rockit' sessions and i think that they are really understanding what leadership and friendship is. Most of the people in my class are starting to become individuals, including me."

Year 6 student - The Woodleigh School.

“Wow, where to start.  It is not often that I see a visiting group connect so quickly and effectively with our students.  Right from the start your presentation was thought-provoking and challenging whilst at the same time our students felt reaffirmed and supported.  The environment you create allows students to discuss the intricate details of what is often a difficult topic and you are both great role models for the students to observe.  In fact it is the students who always comment on the ease in which they can discuss these sensitive topics and they report feeling more confident to deal with similar situations in the future."

Kollen Sussman - Year 7 Cluster Leader - Wesley College, St Kilda Rd Campus.

"PROJECT ROCKIT are creative and lively, and demonstrate great care for the students, both within the sessions, and also in relation to their long-term emotional well-being. They are slick, with-it and very professional in what they do. I highly recommend this program for anyone looking for more than just a lecture about the anti-bullying message for their students. The bullying issue is constant, and finding new ways to address the specific problems associated with it are always welcome. Project Rockit identifies key areas, and gives the students the opportunity to re-think their behaviour, and to realise that although they may have been part of the problem, they can now become part of the solution."

Karen Sargent - Year 7 Student Manager - McKinnon Secondary College.

"We were very impressed with the PROJECT ROCKIT program. Our Grade 6 boys were very engaged in the three sessions, due to the lively and relevant presentation.  I liked the idea too of working on the “role of the bystander”.  ALL students can therefore be a part of stamping out bullying and be part of the solution."

Jan Marshall - Student Welfare Coordinator - Trinity Grammar School.

"The activities were relevant and engaging and there have been many positive comments from both students and staff. The presentation provided the opportunity for the ideas to be taken back to the classroom and has been the basis for follow up discussion and reflection."

Susan Andrew - Head of Middle School - Overnewton Anglican Community College, Keilor Campus.

“The PROJECT ROCKIT presentations and delivery are dynamic and totally switched onto the current teenage audience. The kids love it. They are captured right from the beginning and totally absorbed in the energetic presentation, which delivers some very powerful messages. Later on in the classroom, the students were excited about the ideas and strategies that PROJECT ROCKIT presented. We talked as a group about how we could implement many of the strategies and make some real and meaningful changes to complex peer issues.”

Jenny Stanbury – Head of Health and Resilience – Wesley College, Elsternwick Campus.

“I have learnt a trillion things about how to avoid and help others with cyber bullying.  Now what would you say if someone asked you if you were part of the problem or part of the solution? I didn't quite know until P-ROCK taught us. If you're a part of the problem then you are just letting people be bullied. If you are part of the solution then you are helping to end the bullying.”

Grade 5 student – Sandringham East P.S.

“The children are always engaged with relevant yet exciting activities - both facilitators gain a superb rapport with the students. The students genuinely utilise their advice to solve actual social problems.”

Tim McRae – Classroom Teacher – Gardenvale P.S.

"PROJECT ROCKIT is designed to help us realise how bullying feels and what we can to do stop it. PROJECT ROCKIT showed us some funny and interesting ways to stand up to the bully and be part of the solution."

Grade 6 student – Trinity Grammar School

"Dynamic Hands on program developing resilience by addressing issues around cyber bullying. It was a fantastic program enjoyed by all."

Pamela Brain – Classroom Teacher – Sandringham East P.S.

I’m really happy with the result that project rockit has achieved at our school. I can’t say that I am a popular person but I still have a couple of friends who have supported me through my tuff times. You guys have taught me strategies and different ways than just yelling back or bullying back.

Warren – Year 7 student.

You made me think a lot and I came up with this: because I only have a few bullies and I have lots of friends, I have more power over them than they do against me. So through this you guys gave me the confidence to stand up and now I’m ready for anything.

Kate - Grade 6 student - Williamstown North P.S.
