The challenge
Telstra Foundation wanted real advice from diverse young Australians, and the organisational capability to keep working with them properly, not just once.
The impact
A Youth Advisory Council jointly facilitated by PROJECT ROCKIT and Telstra Foundation, giving young people genuine input across the Foundation's work. They co-designed the survey behind the inaugural Australian Youth Digital Index and represented the Foundation at national events and in media. What started as one engagement is now an ongoing partnership.
The number
Over 50 young people have been members on the Council since 2024.
