What young gamers say it takes to thrive online.
This report captures the insights, experiences, and ideas of 40 young people aged 10–14 who participated in a creative consultation exploring civility and safety on Roblox. Through play-based activities, discussion, and rapid prototyping, young people shared what matters most to them, what challenges they face, and what they believe would make gaming environments safer, fairer, and more enjoyable.
Their message is clear:
The future of gaming is not just about better technology. It is about better experiences – designed with, not just for, young people.
