Cyberbullying. A way to stay entertained

Not caring about the pain

That is caused by what is said

So, people lay crying in their bed

Not telling anyone

Trying to hide and run

Thinking they’re a friend

Then it all comes to an end

Not knowing how to explain

How much pain

Causes damage to your brain

When you speak in vain

A suffering heart

Wanting life to restart

Words start killing

And the world we know is disappearing

Writer's Statement:

I wrote this poem because I wanted to show how bad cyberbullying really is. A lot of people think it’s just a joke or a way to have fun, but it can actually hurt someone really deeply. In the poem I tried to show how people feel when they are bullied online, like they’re alone and can’t tell anyone. I also wanted to show how words can hurt just as much as actions, and sometimes even worse. I hope when people read my poem, they understand that what they say online can really affect someone’s life.
