Hannah Valenti

Program Presenter

1

Hannah (She/her) is a passionate Youth Worker with over four years experience supporting young people, predominantly within the mental health and out of home care sectors. Hannah is a strong believer of meeting young people where they're at and creating meaningful spaces where they are genuinely seen, heard and valued.
A former VCAL student herself, Hannah brings lived experience to her work and has a deep understanding for the importance of alternative education pathways. In her role as a VET Champion, she has presented to VM and VET students across the state on behalf of the Department of Education, using her practical insight to engage young people in meaningful conversations about their futures.

Hannah brings this knowledge and experience into her Program Presenter role at PROJECT ROCKIT, where she aims to create safe, inclusive, and engaging environments for all young people. She values facilitation styles that are interactive and also humorous, and believes that learning works best when young people feel comfortable being themselves. Hannah also holds a deep belief that young people have just as much to teach adults as adults have to teach them.

Outside of PROJECT ROCKIT, Hannah volunteers as a Live-in Mentor supporting young people in out-of-home care. When she’s not working alongside young people, you’ll likely find her watching reruns of Parks and Recreation, reading, op-shopping, seeing live music, or hitting the gym.
