You can use your online power for good.

PROJECT ROCKIT Digital Ambassadors (supported by Meta ) unites Year 7 & 8 students across Australia in a movement to challenge (cyber)bullying and create kind, inclusive online communities.

Led by young people, for young people, the online event will equip your students with tools to take control of online platforms, provide strategies to shut down online hate and (cyber)bullying, and empower them to take positive action online on the issues they care about.

In 2023 we are running 6 events throughout Term 3 - you can register for the day and time that suits you best. Your students can attend using individual devices (recommended to get the most out of the platform’s interactive features) or using a central classroom screen, so whatever your set-up, you can be involved.

Year 7 & 8 students across metropolitan and regional Australia are invited to attend for FREE!

Welcome to Digital Ambassadors! I want to commend you on standing up to online hate and being the agents for the kind of positive change that we need to see online. We're behind your mission, and we support you all the way.

Working with Meta

In 2023 Meta and PROJECT ROCKIT are proudly entering into an eleventh year of partnership to deliver high impact events and campaigns tackling (cyber)bullying. Together we have:

  • Empowered 23,765 Year 7-9 students as Digital Ambassadors

  • Transformed impactful face-to-face programs into innovative digital events

  • Polled thousands of young Aussies on their perspectives of online issues, and

  • Led a world-first youth consultation guiding the development of the Metaverse

This year, the partnership will grow an additional 3,000 Digital Ambassadors from 30 schools across Australia, bringing us to a total of 26,000 Digital Ambassadors (and counting!).

PROJECT ROCKIT serves on Meta’s global Safety Advisory Board and raising young people’s perspectives to those in a position to make positive change.
