Rosie and Lucy delivering keynote speech

KEYNOTES

Talks for your primary students from Lucy Thomas OAM and Rosie Thomas OAM, PROJECT ROCKIT co-founders and CEOs. Typical length of keynote is 20 minutes + Q&A, can be tailored to suit specific needs and can accommodate any group size.

FROM PASSION TO PURPOSE

Practical tools for social change (Years 5 - 6)

Rosie Thomas OAM knows exactly what it's like to be underestimated as a young person. That's why she launched her own business, PROJECT ROCKIT after finishing high school. In this inspiring keynote, Rosie pushes student understandings of 'personal leadership' to facilitate an awakening around creating social change. Instead of asking "what do you want to do?" Rosie asks "who do you want to be?" This talk is jam-packed with strategies on challenging the status quo, finding purpose, taking a stand and rallying peers to create positive change - at school and beyond.

CHALLENGING (CYBER)BULLYING

Strategies for taking real action (Years 5 - 6)

After graduating from high school, Lucy Thomas OAM threw herself into sparking real talk with teens about bullying and mental health. Her goal? To build spaces where kindness and respect thrive. Now, more than 15 years later, Lucy has not only built a solid toolkit of youth-driven ideas for dealing with (cyber)bullying, but has also earned the precious ability to creatively engage people to generate positive impact. This talk presents a balance of storytelling and practical take-aways – students will walk away with safe and socially credible strategies to challenge (cyber)bullying.
