STEP UP
STEP UP launches students into a mindset of social leadership and strength, exploring their individual capabilities to take positive action on causes and issues that are important to them.
The big idea: “You can have an impact on the world today, by using your strengths to take action on what you care about.”
LEARNING OUTCOMES
1. Students have reflected on
experiences of standing up for
what they believe in and the
personal motivations involved.
2. Students have explored their
own individual strengths as
well as those of their peers in
taking positive action.
3. Students have identified
causes, issues and
improvements they want to
see in the world around them
and pinpointed tangible steps
to bring these to life.
